Dan Yashinsky is a storyteller, writer, and teacher in Toronto. He has performed at festivals in Israel, Germany, Brazil, Singapore, Poland, Hong Kong, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Wales, England, the US, and throughout Canada. This is his first trip to India. His books include-' Suddenly They Heard Footsteps' - 'Storytelling for the Twenty-first Century,' and 'Swimming with Chaucer - A Storyteller's Logbook'. Recent projects include a five-year residency at Baycrest, a teaching hospital and long-term care centre in Toronto; a series of Youtube folktales for children titled The Storyteller's Ass; and a documentary (in development) titled The Wisdom of Solomons.
