"Asha Girdhar has been a creative writer and performing artist for over 30 years.

She is an international author, her books and short stories having been published in India, Singapore and Indonesia. She is also a National Award-winning scriptwriter, an award-winning podcaster, a storyteller and a theater enthusiast.

For several years she lived in Jakarta, where she was the writer and editor of an edutainment series that was published for 15 years in Indonesia’s most widely-read English newspaper.

She conducts workshops in creative writing for both students and professionals, and to date has mentored over 15,000 students."
